About

I have been in and out of fitness my whole life, from not being able to get me out of the swimming pool as a kid, then around 10 years of competitive junior curling and now onto where I am today, just a girl who loves to lift weights and get a sweat on.

Many people may be able to relate when I say I've been plagued with injuries along the way: 5 times in crutches, a broken shoulder, more physio sessions than I can count, and ultimately being told I'm really quite hyper mobile! So I've learnt a lot of painful lessons along the way of what works for me and what doesn't, but to also be in tune with my body and recognise when something doesn't feel right and stop to recover.

I also have first hand experience being at both ends of the health spectrum: overweight and inactive through to exercise / scale weight / diet obsessed. I have come a long way from weighing myself sometimes 2-3x per day to where I am now, blissfully unaware of my scale weight but very happy with my current physique and strength, with no desire to know the scale weight.

Whether you're at the start of your fitness journey or coming back from a hiatus I'd love to be the person to help you get your groove back and hopefully ignite a fire along the way.
